ack! I do the same thing. The more tired I am the more I fight sleep. Self care is so important and yet it has always been the hardest thing for me to do. SOmetimes I think it's because I don't feel I deserve to be cared for...I was exhausted, living on much too little sleep for the last nine days. Last night, finally, I made myself go to bed at 9:30 and slept for nine hours. I am much more together today... I wish I could tell you how to get to the point of self-care. I hope you find your way to a good nights sleep tonight.
